Zune Hd Vs Apple iPod Touch - Should You Buy a Zune Hd Instead?
Whether you're a die-hard Apple iPod Touch fan or just getting into the transported media player stage, both Apple and Microsoft have newly designed and perfected media players for you to select from this season. And for the first time, Microsoft has a goods that's a close contender with the Apple iPod Touch 32 Gb: the Microsoft Zune Hd 32 Gb.
Now you're probably wondering why you should even consider a Microsoft toy when Apple has done such a great job with the iPod. For starters, Microsoft has of course taken pieces of Apple's player and integrated a more Microsoft-esque interface, which allows you easier access to your music and movies than iPod does. In addition, the price is comparable as well. So here's some of the best Zune Hd features to help you settle if you should buy a Zune or buy an iPod Touch this year.
1. The gorgeous touch screen: If you'd rather navigate using your fingers than a stylus or a cursor, the Zune Hd is somewhat great than the iTouch, amazingly enough. Not only is navigation more intuitive, the graphics, movies, and album art are displayed more vividly on the Zune than on the iPod Touch.
2. Sleeker software compatibility: I don't know about you, but using iTunes on a Pc is almost a lost cause. You can't just add and delete songs at will; you have to let it sync, back up, allow permissions, and a bunch of other annoyances.
But with the Microsoft Zune Hd, you only need to use Zune 4.0 software, which is much more compatible with Microsoft operating systems and negates the need to setup an Apple software on a Pc, which always, always, all the time causes headaches.
3. Quickplay for Zune Hd vs. Itunes navigation: It's no fun to be little to scrolling forever and ever through iPod interfaces when you can link to shortcuts for favorites and recently played media with the Zune Hd.
This is a great choice for those of us who don't care to scroll all the way through an alphabetical listing on an iPod Touch. Not that this is a bad thing, it's just more suitable on the Zune.
